staying at the midland was a delightful experience! the hotel has such a beautiful and quirky design—especially loved that moving wall for the bathroom door. the breakfast was absolutely fantastic, and the service was top-notch. the staff even brought chessboards to our room, which was a lovely touch. i appreciate how close it is to urban splash, too.

We stayed in a fantastic room with a balcony overlooking Morecambe Bay, which was a perfect spot to catch the sunset. My teenagers had a blast, especially when we enjoyed the delicious food in the restaurant. The staff was genuinely friendly and accommodating.
My kids wished the outside bar service could've been quicker and more organized.

great views but room needs updates
The sea view from our Classic Double Sea View with Balcony offered a delightful backdrop for our stay. We appreciated the generous space outside the hotel for parking and the prompt assistance with our luggage upon arrival.
The room decor felt dated, impacting the overall comfort.

the view across the sea was just amazing, really stunning to wake up to. breakfast was great too, a lovely start to the day. the rooms were warm and clean, with a nice comfy vibe. thanks to the friendly staff, who were always smiley and helpful. we enjoyed our meals in a great spot with that beautiful view.
The bathrooms could use better insulation. we heard a lot from the one above us. also, the sound from the fridge in our room was quite annoying at night.

A Great Escape for Solo Travelers
The food was top-notch, really exceeded my expectations. The staff were friendly and even cooked up a cocktail for me, didn’t have the right stuff but they improvised and it turned out great!
It wasn’t cheap, let’s be honest, but still felt acceptable for what I got.

Had a lovely stay recently where we enjoyed the stunning sea view from our balcony and the cozy family room. The beach access was perfect for relaxing afternoons, and we loved lounging on the sun terrace while soaking up the sun. The only hiccup was a bit of noise from a nearby event, but it didn’t take away from our overall great experience! 🌊
